What is NBV (Net Book Value)?

Net Book Value is an asset’s original cost minus its accumulated depreciation.

In depth

NBV shows what an asset is currently worth on the books. It falls each period as depreciation accumulates, until it reaches the asset’s residual (salvage) value.

Asetavo calculates NBV automatically from each asset’s cost, method and in-service date, and exposes it in reports and exports.
