What is Zone-exit alert?
A zone-exit alert is a real-time notification triggered when a tagged asset is detected leaving a zone it is authorized to be in.
In depth
Zone-exit alerts rely on fixed RFID portals or gateway readers placed at doorways, gates or storeroom entrances. When a tag’s signal crosses that boundary, the reader logs an "exit" event, which Asetavo checks against the asset’s allowed zones.
If the asset should not have left, an alert fires immediately to the responsible team — with the reader, timestamp and asset attached for full context, so someone can act before the item is gone.
